Electrovaya Secures $26 Million Supply Agreement for Janus Electric Truck Battery Packs

Australian electric heavy-truck conversion firm Janus Electric has partnered with Ontario-based battery maker Electrovaya in a $26 million deal. Electrovaya will supply proprietary battery systems for Janus's swappable Class 8 conversion kits as the company expands into North America. The collaboration aims to accelerate zero-emission commercial transport across the United States and Canada with rapid battery-exchange infrastructure.
