DOE Grant Boosts Domestic Production of EV Battery Additives in Louisiana and Texas

Cabot Corporation has secured a $50 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to significantly expand its domestic manufacturing of conductive additives essential for EV batteries. This investment, combined with an additional $75 million from Cabot, will bolster production capabilities at existing facilities in Franklin, Louisiana, and Pampa, Texas, strengthening the EV supply chain within the United States.
