Dacia Explores $12,700 City EV for UK, Potentially Made in China

Renault Group's budget brand, Dacia, is reportedly considering a new compact electric vehicle, dubbed the "Hipster," with an ambitious target price of around $12,700 (£9,500). If approved, this tiny EV could hit UK showrooms by 2027, leveraging Chinese production to achieve its low cost. The project, however, is still awaiting final sign-off from Dacia and Renault Group leadership.
