BYD Outpaces Tesla Yet Again in Q2 2026 Global BEV Sales

Chinese automotive giant BYD significantly surpassed Tesla in global battery-electric vehicle deliveries for the second quarter of 2026, solidifying its lead in the BEV market. With over 557,000 units sold, BYD delivered more than 160,000 additional BEVs compared to Tesla's expected figures for the same period.
