BYD Establishes Local EV Assembly Operations in Malaysia

Chinese EV giant BYD is expanding its global manufacturing footprint by partnering with Inokom Corporation Sdn. Bhd. to assemble electric vehicles in Malaysia. This strategic collaboration, which will see completely knocked-down (CKD) units produced in Kulim, Kedah, marks a significant step in BYD's efforts to localize production and cater to the Southeast Asian market.
