BYD Adds High-Speed Blowout Stability System to Entry-Level Seagull EV

BYD has updated its ultra-affordable Seagull electric hatchback in China with enhanced active safety technology designed to prevent loss of control during tire punctures. The budget EV demonstrated the system by maintaining its trajectory after a tire blowout at nearly 90 mph. The update brings advanced chassis stability tech to a sub-$10,000 electric vehicle.
