Audi Weighs US Manufacturing Footprint for Plug-In Hybrids and Electric Vehicles

Audi is adjusting its American product roadmap to lean more heavily into plug-in hybrids alongside fully electric vehicles. The German automaker is also evaluating localized production, potentially including a manufacturing site in Georgia to build electrified models. Establishing domestic assembly would help the brand navigate federal incentive requirements and trade policies while expanding its regional footprint.
